A Geography of Siege

A Geography of Siege

1 – 30 October 2026

Ragged School Museum, 46-50 Copperfield Road, London E3 4RR

Edmund is showing four works from ‘Guantanamo: If the Light Goes Out’ in
’A Geography of Siege’.

The exhibition brings together still and moving images made across conditions of rupture,  displacement, exhaustion and repetition.  Siege is understood here not simply as a military  or political event, nor as a territory surrounded, but as a condition that enters experience  itself: language, legibility, intimacy, imagination, space and time.

Curated by Vali Mahlouji, including artists Jananne Al-Ani, Edmund Clark,
Tarlan Lotfizadeh, Goshka Macuga, Vali Mahlouji, Tahmineh Monzavi,
Simon Moretti, Hrair Sarkissian.
