How are war and conflict presented in our media-dominated world? How is it possible to find truth among different perspectives? What narrative approach must the ‘picture-makers’ of today take in order to reach a public audience? Images in Conflict explores these questions through the work of contemporary photographers and artists whose approach goes beyond current news reporting. The exhibition highlights the changing functions of both stills and video imagery in conflict situations, as well as addressing the role of the media in different areas of warfare.

Exhibited works include: Letters to Omar, Orange Screen and Section 4 Part 20: One Day on a Saturday
